Jewels of Opar is another small textural accent in a burgundy color. Its thin stem and airy texture adds that special accent.

Toad Lilly is a small lilly bloom the grows locally in the autumn months. It is speckled in muted grey - purple tones, and is our favorite unique accent in bouquets and centerpieces when available.

Football Mums can be an underrated fall beauty. Their tall hardy stems and range of bronze and burgundy tones can really elevate large scale designs with the perfect autumn shade.

And while this could be a category all in it’s own, no fall flower list is complete with mentioning the Fall Foliage available this time of year. Whether it is Bittersweet vines popping with berries, or Nandina that has turned the perfect shade of burgundy, fall has some of the best branches and foliage that elevates every design.

Fall / Autumn Favorite Flowers Conclusion

Fall floral season is best defined by two elements:

  • A ton of different textures

  • Dahlias

And although technically there is a bit more to it than that, dahlias are the main focal showstopper of fall, thriving in August - October. With a large varitey of sizes, shapes, and colors, there is a dahlia for every part of your wedding. Ranunculus, roses, and marigolds are our other favorite focal flowers that create a large impact.

Fall flower season also has no shortage of those extra special textural accents that elevate every wedding design. And while this list is in no way complete, these are just a few of the best blooms that make the fall flower season distinctly unique here in New Jersey.
